I had a decent stay at Catalonia Vondel Amsterdam, but it wasn’t without drawbacks. The location is great for sightseeing, which I loved, and my room was clean and comfortable. However, I dealt with some noise from renovations next door and had some trouble finding the lifts, given the hotel’s layout. Overall, it’s a cozy spot, but there are aspects that could be improved.

The renovation work caused some disruption, making the hallways a bit tricky to navigate. However, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the breakfast offered a diverse selection that I thoroughly enjoyed.

The location near Leidseplein was fantastic, making it easy to explore the city. but the room I had was quite small and felt a bit tired. Breakfast was average and for the price, I expected better. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there are definitely better options out there.

Some facilities were good but my experience with maintenance issues detracted from the overall comfort. The structure of the hotel made navigation somewhat awkward.
